Nottingham Forest are set to play against Wigan Athletic in a Championship clash at the DW Stadium on Sunday.
Sabri Lamouchi’s Reds side will be looking to record an away win as they aim to establish themselves as firm contenders for promotion this season.
On paper, Forest should have enough quality to win the game.
The City Ground outfit are currently in better form than the Latics, who have won just three out of their opening 11 league games of the season.
Forest will be looking to continue their 10 game unbeaten run.
Ryan Yates could be set to potentially return to action during the game after having recovered from a knee problem, according to a report which was published by BBC Sport.
The report added that Forest players Michael Dawson and Alfa Semedo remained sidelined through injury. Samba Sow is another player who will be sidelined for the next few weeks due to hamstring trouble.
If Forest do manage to win the game, they will be making history.
The Latics have never lost a home match against Lamouchi’s side in all competitions.
Forest have lost two games against their opponents away, drawn five times and never won.
Even though Wigan have not started the season in good form, their home league form has been relatively good.
They have lost just one out of their previous 15 home league games. The last time that they lost on their own turf was when they went down 2-0 against Leeds United back in August.
Forest are however unbeaten in 10 league games.
