Some West Ham United fans have taken to Twitter to give their reaction to the performance of Aaron Cresswell against Burnley on Wednesday evening.
Cresswell was in action for West Ham in their Premier League game against Burnley at the London Stadium.
The left-back started the match and played for the entire 90 minutes, as David Moyes’s side lost 1-0.
The 30-year-old was at fault for Burnley’s goal, struggled defensively throughout the match, and failed to make a huge impact in attack, with his crossing being hit and miss.
It was one of the worst performances from the England international for the Hammers this season.
According to WhoScored, Cresswell took two shots of which one was on target, played one key pass, had a pass accuracy of 77.8%, won one header, took 78 touches, made one tackle, one interception and one clearance, and put in four crosses of which none was accurate.
So far this season, the left-back has scored three goals in 28 Premier League matches for the Hammers, according to WhoScored.
Some West Ham fans were not impressed with the display produced by Cresswell against Burnley and have criticised him on Twitter.
