Norwich City face a daunting trip to the King Power Stadium to take on Leicester City on Saturday afternoon, but there has been some positivity in the camp ahead of the match.
The Canaries are finding their return to the top flight a little tough at present, languishing in second from bottom spot in the Premier League table, with points coming at a premium.
Norwich have entertained with their fluent, modern style of football, but the time has come to convert that into results, although they could be up against it when they go to Leicester, who have won their last eight matches in the league.
If the Canaries are going to get anything when they go away to the better sides this season, they are going to need to be at their best, and will need their more important players available as often as is possible.
Norwich therefore have been boosted by the news that Daniel Farke has revealed he has no new injury problems to contend with.
The only player who is missing for the Canaries is Grant Hanley, but there was positive news regarding his status, provided by the boss when he addressed the media ahead of the match.
“There is nothing too special to report. Everyone is available who was available for the last game [vs Sheffield United].” The Norwich official website quotes him as saying.
“We have some good news with Grant. He was back in team training on Wednesday. The game this weekend comes a bit too early but it’s good have him back. It’s good to know he’ll be available for the festive period.
“He is strong lad and a brilliant character. He’s a proud player and greedy to help the team as quick as possible.
“It’s not easy to deal with setbacks. He wanted to return much earlier. He’s experienced and strong in his head.
“He wasn’t too down when he was out. He was trying to support the lads as much as he could.”
