Young Lens defender Jean-Kevin Duverne rejected the chance to sign for a host of Premier League clubs over the summer including Tottenham Hotspur and Liverpool, according to France Football.
The 19-year-old is a rising star at the Ligue 2 club and the report suggests that the centre-half had the option to move to a host of English or Spanish sides.

However, Duverne opted to extend his stay at Lens with a new contract and he has starred for the modest outfit this season.
The teenager has started five of his side six domestic games so far in 2016-17, coming off the bench for the other fixture.
The Stade Bollaert-Delelis was also the breeding ground for Real Madrid star Raphael Varane, who came through the ranks at Lens before being snatched up by the Spanish giants.

Tottenham have put an emphasis on youth since the appointment of Mauricio Pochettino, with the North London side also bringing French-based players such as Benjamin Stambouli, Clinton N’jie and Georges-Kevin N’Koudou to the Premier League in recent years.
Jurgen Klopp has also looked to sign young players to bolster his ranks, with the Premier League pair seemingly set to keep a close eye on Duverne’s development.
