Newcastle United play against Brighton and Hove Albion in a Premier League clash at the Amex Stadium on Saturday.
Following their 3-1 victory against Southampton in the league last weekend, the Magpies are all but safe from relegation this season.
Newcastle enter the game in 13th position on the Premier League standings with 41 points after 35 games. They are ten points clear of 18th place Cardiff City.
Brighton are in a more precarious position, in 17th position on the standings and are just three points clear of the Bluebirds.
Newcastle enter the game in better form having won their last two consecutive Premier League games. Brighton are winless during their last five Premier League games and lost four times during that period.
The last time that the two sides met in the Premier League was in October with Brighton winning 1-0.
Newcastle have yet to record a Premier League win against the Seagulls. Rafa Benitez’s men have lost twice against Chris Hughton’s side while the other game was drawn.
Should Brighton prevail on Saturday, they will complete the top-flight double over their opponents for the first time since the 1978/79 season.
Newcastle will not be at full-strength for the game on Saturday. They are set to be without the services of captain Jamaal Lascelles, according to a report published by BBC Sport.
Miguel Almiron, who arrived at the Magpies in January, is set to be out for the rest of the season due to a hamstring injury.
The report added that Fabian Schar and Isaac Hayden, who suffered minor injuries against the Saints last weekend, should be available for selection.
