Newcastle United face off against Norwich City in a Premier League encounter at Carrow Road on Saturday afternoon.
The Magpies will be looking to secure their first points of the season against the newly promoted side after suffering a 1-0 defeat to Arsenal last weekend.
The Canaries will also be looking to bounce back after they were demolished 4-1 by Liverpool last week.
It will be an interesting game for Newcastle as their former club stalwart Tim Krul is likely to be between the sticks for Daniel Farke’s side.
The 31-year-old is well-liked by majority of Toon Army supporters after having made 160 League appearances for the club between 2006-2017.
Newcastle midfielder Jonjo Shelvey is fit and is expected to play during the game, according to a report published by BBC Sport.
The report did add that Magpies summer signing Allan Saint-Maximin is a doubt for the game due to a hamstring injury.
Andy Carroll, DeAndre Yedlin and Florian Lejeune are all unlikely to play a role for Newcastle during the game, added the report.
Norwich placed first in the Championship last season and at times were playing as though they were a Premier League side.
If they play as open as they were during the game against Liverpool, they could be punished by Newcastle with the likes of Joelinton and Miguel Almiron being able to cause damage if they are on song.
Newcastle have dominated the recent meetings between the two sides with Norwich going on to win just one out of the past nine games between the teams.
