Championship leaders Newcastle United are said to be the favourites to land Hull City centre-half Harry Maguire, according to The Sun.
The Magpies would have to pay up to £12 million for the 24-year-old, who has impressed at the heart of Hull’s defence this term.

Maguire is reportedly unhappy at the Tigers’ refusal to offer him an improved contract after a series of stand-out performances have bought him to national attention.
The Englishman, who has been touted with a call-up to his country’s senior squad, started his career with Sheffield United before moving to Hull in 2014.
He was in and out of the team during the opening few months of the current campaign but has played every minute of his side’s last 13 Premier League matches.
A move to St James’ Park in the summer looks to be on the cards for Maguire, but only if Newcastle can secure a return to the top flight at the first time of asking.
This seems likely to be the case after the north east club dismantled fellow promotion hopefuls Huddersfield Town 3-1 last night to move five points clear of second-placed Brighton & Hove Albion at the top of the table.
