Newcastle United have been linked with a move for Saint-Etienne defender Kevin Malcuit, according to France Football.
The right-back, who French publication Le 10 Sport reported as close to a move to West Ham United in January, has featured heavily for Les Verts this season and is said to be attracting interest from all around Europe.

Newcastle are widely expected to achieve promotion to the Premier League and are clearly looking to strengthen their squad, particularly in a ‘problem’ area of the pitch for the Magpies.
Vurnon Anita’s deal at the club is approaching an end, while Jesus Gamez has barely featured this season due to a number of injury issues.
Add to that the question marks about the defensive consistency of DeAndre Yedlin and you have a worrying mix that manager Rafael Benitez will be all too aware of.
Malcuit, who featured in Saint-Etienne’s Europa League tie against Manchester United this season, is valued at around £10 million and could well be the answer to those issues.
The 25-year-old, who came through the ranks at Monaco, has been impressive since signing in 2015 and possesses the combative, attacking nature of the modern day full-back.
However, some of the St James’ Park faithful may have reservations about signing yet another player from Ligue 1, given that the likes of Romain Amalfitano, Henri Saivet and Emmanuel Riviere have all struggled on Tyneside after joining from France.
