Scottish Premiership leaders Celtic powered to another win when they beat Ross County 4-1 on Sunday afternoon, and afterwards their fans were full of praise once again for their best player on the day.
The Bhoys were expected to ease past their lowly opponents heading into the match, but it still has to be done and after an emotional effort in the Europa League in midweek, that is never guaranteed, but they made light work of the 90 minutes it has to be said.
Celtic made it 10 wins on the trot with a 4-1 victory, in which Ryan Christie once again showed his class with a couple of goals and an assist, in another stellar performance from the Scotland international.
It was he who got the scoring underway, when he converted a penalty at the second time of asking, and he also restored the lead for the Bhoys seven minutes from half time, to pretty much put the game beyond Ross County after Neil Lennon’s men had leaked a surprise equaliser.
Celtic certainly had the points wrapped up midway through the second period, when Tom Rogic scored from a Christie assist, and it was all over bar the shouting when Mikey Johnston came off the bench to score a fourth for the Scottish giants.
Christie is making huge waves up in Scotland this season, with his form being talked about in the very highest regard, something the Bhoys fans are not slow to emphasise whenever their man impresses, like he did on Sunday.
Celtic supporters took to social media in their droves after the 4-1 victory, to once again wax lyrical over a player who is certainly at his very best right now, with everyone hoping that will continue for the foreseeable future.
