Middlesbrough are hoping to sign Stoke forward Bojan Krkic for £8m, according to the Daily Star.
The move coincides with Stewart Downing’s supposed transfer to Crystal Palace and will only happen if the Boro midfielder moves to Selhurst Park.

Bojan is reportedly unhappy at Stoke after struggling to force his way back into the team following injury and this has alerted Teeside boss Aitor Karanka.
The Boro manager has already bolstered his forward line by signing Rudy Gestede and the former Barcelona man is a player he admires as he can play on both flanks or down the middle.
“I like to bring players who can play in different positions, so we will try”, Karanka told the Mirror.
“I know Bojan, because he was in the national team. He is a good player, he has played in AC Milan, Barcelona, Ajax, Rome, Stoke … so he is a good player.”
Middlesbrough have proven the first half of the season they have a good solid defensive unit and fans will be hoping Bojan is the man to add goals to the team and help fire them away from the relegation zone.
