Michael Owen has predicted on Betvictor.com that Arsenal will win against West Ham United this weekend.
The Gunners will take on the Hammers at the Emirates Stadium in North London in the Premier League on Saturday afternoon.
Former Liverpool and Manchester United striker Owen has backed the Gunners to pick up all three points from the London derby.
Owen wrote on Betvictor.com: “An all-London affair sees Arsenal host West Ham. Arsenal have enjoyed two wins on the bounce in the league with young starlet Bukayo Saka proving pivotal in both victories.
“A resounding victory at home against Southampton last week isn’t enough to make up for West Ham’s unconvincing away record that’s keeping them anchored to the bottom half of the table.
“I’m going with Arsenal to continue their winning ways at West Ham’s expense.”
Win for Arsenal?
Arsenal do have a better team than West Ham, and the North London outfit will be confident of picking up all three points from the London derby.
Mikel Arteta’s side will head into the the match against the Hammers on the back of a 2-0 win against Portsmouth in the FA Cup.
The Gunners are 10th in the Premier League table at the moment with 37 points from 27 matches.
Meanwhile, West Ham currently find themselves 16th in the standings with 27 points from 28 matches.
David Moyes’s side are level on points with third-from-bottom Bournemouth and are in real danger of getting relegated to the Championship at the end of the season.
