Atletico Madrid star Antoine Griezmann has stated that he could be on his way on his way to the Premier League.

The 25-year-old French international, and teammate of Manchester United star Paul Pogba, has said he is happy in the Spanish capital but would like to play in English football in the future.

“For the moment, I am good at Atletico”, Griezmann told TF1’s Telefoot.

“I prefer to stay in La Liga or maybe move to the Premier League. I have heard the Premier League is crazy, so why not?”

During the interview with the French broadcasters, Griezmann said that it would not be a fellow La Liga giant he would be joining.

“A transfer between Atletico Madrid and Real Madrid is not an option,” he continued.

“Barcelona would be an option. But they have three untouchables in attack at the moment.

“PSG could be an interesting option, but I do not want to move to Ligue 1 at this stage of my career.”

This is not the first time the Macon-born striker has built-up speculation around himself and Premier League United.

During the summer, Griezmann contributed to the Red Devils marketing campaign #POGBACK on Twitter, leaving some fans thinking he could be next on Jose Mourinho’s wish list.

United have had issues in the final third this season, with the potential signing of the Frenchman next summer a potential remedy.

Griezmann topped the Euro 2016 goalscoring charts in the summer and continues to go from strength-to-strength at Atletico.
