The report suggests that Lingard currently earns £30,000 per week and has been offered a new deal with the Manchester club that would double his salary to £60,000.
However, it states that the 23-year-old is in no rush to extend terms with Jose Mourinho’s men and will instead hold out fora more lucrative deal as his current contract winds down closer to completion.
Lingard is one of the only players in the current United squad that can offer real width and as such he has started six Premier League games this season.
The report insinuates that the homegrown hero does not want to leave his boyhood club but his camp feel that the star can earn an increased pay packet by playing hardball over negotiations.
