Premier League title hopefuls Manchester United have been linked with a surprise attempt to sign young Cypriot midfielder Grigoris Kastanos from Juventus when the transfer window reopens, according to The Express.
The Red Devils made global news when Paul Pogba left the Bianconeri to rejoin the Premier League outfit for a world-record fee earlier this summer.
However, another attempt to snatch a prodigious talent from the Serie A powerhouses could well be underway, with the report suggesting that Kastanos is an unlikely target.]

The 18-year-old is yet to make his debut for the Juventus senior side but has featured prominently in the youth ranks in Turin.
Already a twice-capped Cyprus international, Kastanos is being tipped to have a bright future in the game and is knocking on the door of Max Allegri’s first-team squad.
It remains to be seen just how much football the teenage starlet would receive at Old Trafford, with the Premier League side banishing Bastian Schweinsteiger due to their array of options in the boiler room.
Juventus have made a point of progressing young players into their starting XI in recent seasons, with Pogba and countryman Kingsley Coman the highest-profile examples of this.
