Manchester United continued their inconsistent form on Sunday with a 1-1 draw against Everton at Goodison Park.
Zlatan Ibrahimovic had given the Red Devils the lead but a late Leighton Baines penalty ensured the Premier League spoils were shared on Merseyside.

Ahead of the game, the selection of Henrikh Mkhitaryan was a standout on the visitors teamsheet, with the former Borussia Dortmund making only his second Premier League start of the season.
The Armenian playmaker was signed at considerable expense over the summer and was expected to become a mainstay of Jose Mourinho’s team this season.
However, the gifted midfielder has struggled to adapt to life at Old Trafford and as such he has been predominantly on the sidelines in 2016-17.
Mkhitaryan looked dangerous in United’s game with Everton, showing glimpses of why the Red Devils parted company with a sizeable transfer fee in the summer.
The majority of the Red Devils fans were impressed with his performance – here are the best tweets.
Henrikh Mkhitaryan is easily the most creative and enjoyable player to watch at Manchester United. Should cement his place in the team now.

Disappointing result for #mufc but some positives from the game: Phil Jones very assured again and another good performance from Mkhitaryan.

Suspect Mkhitaryan may well be staying the whole 90 minutes in future games for #MUFC….attack is the best form of defence.

Another disastrous result for #mufc. Mkhitaryan was their best attacker yet was taken off. Ibrahimovic should’ve made way for Rashford.

Really impressed by Mkhitaryan again this half. #mufc look most threatening when he’s involved. Movement so intuitive.

Mkhitaryan should now be on Mourinho’s first name on the team sheet. He will be special for us.

Mkhitaryan was our only good player going forward today, the attack simply wasn’t good enough. Mata would have been better than Pogba.

Is it only me who thinks Mata is better than Mkhitaryan?

Standing ovation to Henrikh Mkhitaryan. Good game yet again, Armenian Genius!
