Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho has already identified his main transfer target for next summer, with The Daily Star suggesting the Portuguese trainer wants Gareth Bale at Old Trafford in 2017.
The Red Devils signed Paul Pogba this summer in a world-record transfer, but the Premier League side are supposedly already starting to put plans in place to sign the Real Madrid star for an even bigger fee.
Bale shot to notoriety at Tottenham and was signed by the Spanish giants in 2013, at which point United were also linked with the Welsh attacker.

Since moving to the Santiago Bernabeu, Bale has developed even more and is regarded as one of the best players on the planet.
The report suggests that Mourinho is already eyeing a move for the flying winger next summer and is willing to pay a fee in excess of Pogba’s world record.
Madrid would surely be keen to keep hold of the Welshman, especially given that Cristiano Ronaldo is getting older and starting to wane as a force.
