Manchester United and Everton have started discussions over a potential January deal that would see Morgan Schneiderlin join the Goodison Park club, according to The Sun.
The France international midfielder moved to Old Trafford last summer after exemplary showings for Southampton but has not had the rub of the green for the Red Devils.

Jose Mourinho has preferred to start the likes of Paul Pogba, Ander Herrera and Michael Carrick this season and as such Schneiderlin looks like a player surplus to requirements.
Everton have had joy in recruiting central midfielders of late, with Idrissa Gueye starring for the Toffees following his move from Aston Villa.
Partnering the African battler with Schneiderlin could well be a double act as good as any in the Premier League and give the Frenchman a chance to resurrect his career on Merseyside.
Everton are believed to be ready to let James McCarthy go, with the United star a readymade replacement.
