Manchester United are reportedly ready to offer both Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Jesse Lingard new contracts this summer, according to Sunday’s press.
The Mirror claim that the Swedish striker’s immediate impact at Old Trafford has been enough for the powers that be at the Premier League club to extend his terms.

Ibrahimovic signed a 12-month deal with the Red Devils after leaving Paris Saint-Germain in the summer but the report suggests this will be pushed out to a three-year arrangement if the player agrees.
Lingard meanwhile could well in line for a four-year extension, if another report in The Mirror is to be believed.
The homegrown winger got his chance in the Premier League last season under Louis van Gaal and has shown fleeting signs that he can be an effective operator for the title-chasing side.

Jose Mourinho shocked the United fans by giving Lingard a start in the Manchester derby yesterday, but the Englishman was withdrawn at half-time following an abject display in the first 45 minutes.
Regardless of this, the report suggests that the Premier League side value Lingard’s progression over the last 12 months and will look to secure his future at Old Trafford with a new deal.
