Manchester United defender Marcos Rojo has stated that Jose Mourinho has told him that he has a part to play at Old Trafford and will not be leaving the Premier League club.
The Portuguese trainer moved to take the Red Devils reins over the summer and has opted to play Luke Shaw as his first-choice left-back this season so far.

The versatile Rojo has also played at centre-half during his time in the Premier League, but the Argentina international has largely been a fringe figure under Mourinho this season.
Speculation in the press has stated that the former Sporting Lisbon defender could well be offloaded in January as he looks to find a club that can offer him more regular time on the pitch.
Despite the fact that he will have to fight for a spot in the team and is likely to face the disappointment of missing out in Premier League fixtures, Rojo has stated that he will not be leaving Old Trafford anytime soon unless something drastically changes.
“Many people spoke a lot about how he did not want me,” the full-back told AS.
“But from the first day he arrived he told me I was in his thoughts and he would tell me (if I wasn’t).
“He is a very good coach and is very demanding, I like his way of thinking and dealing with players – I got a big surprise. I want to work hard to earn more time on the pitch.”
