Manchester City play against Brighton and Hove Albion in a Premier League clash on Sunday and the Citizens will be going all-out to win the game as three points will ensure they claim the Premier League crown for a second consecutive season.
City enter the game in brilliant form, having won their past 13 successive league games. By contrast, Brighton are without a win in their last eight games.
City can be confident that they will win this game as they have recorded victory in the past three fixtures played between the two sides.
In what will be good news for Pep Guardiola’s side, Kevin De Bruyne could be set to make a return to action during the game, according to City’s official website.
City have a vastly superior side than their opponents in terms of quality. If the Citizens lose this game, it will prove to be one of the biggest upsets of the season.
De Bruyne has been out of action since he suffered an injury during the club’s 1-0 win against Tottenham Hotspur last month.
City will however have to make do without the services of midfielder Fernandinho, who has a knee problem. Other players who remain out include reserve goalkeeper Claudio Bravo and Benjamin Mendy.
The only real threat that City will have to contain on the day is Brighton striker Glenn Murray. The 35-year-old has netted 12 League goals this season and if City are not awake defensively, he could punish them.
Liverpool fans will be keeping a keen eye on the game as they look to overtake City and win a dramatic Premier League title on the final day of the campaign.
