Liverpool are being linked with a move for Leicester City defender Christian Fuchs, with The Sun stating that the Reds want the Austria international to solve their issues at left-back.

The Merseyside outfit have seemingly lost faith in Spanish full-back Alberto Moreno, with James Milner given the nod to play out of position in the role in the side’s last two games.

As such, a move for Fuchs before the transfer window closes in midweek is being touted in the British press.

The Austrian full-back joined Leicester on a free transfer last summer and was an unheralded hero in the Foxes recording an unbelievable Premier League title success in 2015-16.

Jurgen Klopp will know the 30-year-old well from his time playing in the Bundesliga, with the defender playing for Bochum, Mainz and Schalke.

Should Fuchs be added to the Reds’ squad it would add an experienced and able operator to the group and potential allow the manager to remove Milner from a position he is not accustomed to.
