Liverpool were not at their vintage best against Swansea City on Saturday but a 2-1 win at the Liberty Stadium kept the momentum with Jurgen Klopp’s men.
It was James Milner that scored the decisive goal in the 2-1 victory, stepping up to slot home from the penalty spot int he second half.
44 – James Milner has never been on the losing side in a @premierleague game where he has scored. Talisman.

As can be seen above, the England international’s goals are important for the Merseyside outfit, with the Reds never losing a game when the versatile star has hit the back of the net.
Milner has been asked to fill in at left-back this term due to doubts over Alberto Moreno and the high-energy midfielder has fitted in well so far.
There are certainly weaknesses in playing the veteran at full-back, with his lack of a confidence delivery with his left foot and positional issues also being highlighted.
However, regardless of where Milner plays, he offers up a work-rate and dedication second to none – as such he is an under-rated but important player for Klopp’s side.

As can be seen above, no other Liverpool player has been more involved in scoring or creating goals for the Anfield side since the start of last season and as such the Englishman and his impact should not be overlooked.
