Liverpool will be preparing for their match against Red Star Belgrade on Tuesday night and it appears Jurgen Klopp will have received a timely boost ahead of the game, according to the club’s official website.
The Reds currently occupy top spot in their Champions League group and will want to replicate their 4-0 result in the last meeting between the two sides.
Klopp will want to ensure his side do not become complacent against the Serbian outfit, as they have been on a great run of form recently and also head Napoli to a goalless draw in front of their home crowd.
However, the German will have been delighted to have received a timely boost ahead of the game with two of his key players set to make a return.
Both Naby Keita and Dejan Lovren have travelled with the squad to Belgrade and are in contention of being selected for the tie.
The Guinea international has missed the last four games with a hamstring injury that he picked up whilst on international duty.
Lovren was not named in Liverpool’s matchday squad for their weekend clash against Arsenal, however, it appears that he is ready to make a return to the side.
Klopp will be without a couple of key men for the trip across Europe, with the likes of Nathaniel Clyne and Jordan Henderson remaining at Melwood.
Xhredan Shaqiri has also remained in England as the German admitted that he did not want to take the Switzerland international winger due to political reasons.
