Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp has confirmed some of the side that took to the field in the French capital are carrying knocks, but as BBC Sport reports he is keeping his cards close to his chest and refusing to reveal which players are struggling.
The Reds’ captain Jordan Henderson featured during mid-week but will play no part on Sunday, as he is suspended following his red card in last week’s 3-0 victory away to Watford.
Liverpool boast an impressive derby record, as they are unbeaten in their last 15 league meetings with Everton, a run that stretches back to 2010.
At home in the derby, the Reds haven’t lost to their fierce rivals since 1999 and have won five of their six league fixtures at Anfield this season.
