Barcelona manager Luis Enrique is ready to make Liverpool right-back Nathaniel Clyne his number-one January transfer target and is preparing a shock £20 million offer, according to The Sun.
The Catalan giants are eyeing up a long-term replacement for Dani Alves and reportedly believe the England international’s age and blistering pace make him the perfect option.

The London-born star has impressed since his £12.5 million switch to Anfield from Southampton and has earned 13 caps for his country.
Clyne has made 12 appearances for the Reds this season, guiding the club to joint top of the table alongside Arsenal and Manchester City.
The La Liga champions have struggled to plug the gap in defence since their Brazilian wideman left for Juventus on a free transfer last summer. Aleix Vidal and Sergi Roberto have both been given a chance but Enrique remains unconvinced by either.
If Barcelona are to land their man, a massive offer will be required to tempt Jurgen Klopp into selling, as Clyne’s contract runs until 2020 and the defender has become a key figure in the German’s starting XI
