Liverpool’s name has been thrown in the hat as a potential destination for Manchester City goalkeeper Joe Hart, with The Sun stating that the England international is ready to take a dramatic wage drop to seal a move to Anfield.
The distinguished stopper has been one of the casualties of Pep Guardiola’s appointment at the Etihad Stadium, with the Catalan trainer banishing the former Shrewsbury custodian.

The ex-Bayern Munich boss wants a goalkeeper that is more comfortable with the ball at his feet and has since signed Claudio Bravo from Barcelona.
Hart is now looking destined to leave City before the end of August to avoid rotting away in the reserves, but needs to find a suitable new club.
Everton were linked with the stopper but have since distanced themselves from the England international and as such a switch to the other side of Merseyside is being touted.
