Troublesome Mario Balotelli has revealed he would one day like to return to the Premier League – but not to former club Liverpool.
The 26-year-old frontman, who has been in good form this season with seven goals in 10 games, joined French side Nice in the summer on a free transfer from the Reds.
Balotelli said it would be for more personal rather than professional reasons why he wouldn’t go back to the Merseyside club.
“[If I go back to England] For sure not Liverpool,” the Italian striker told Chinese publication Xinhua.
“Because I find myself [performing] very bad in Liverpool. I said the team was good and the fans were amazing, but I would never go back to Liverpool.”

Balotelli, who created a very divided opinion of himself between fans during his time in the Premier League, has said that he may however be interested in other English top-flight clubs.
“The first one I think in England is Manchester City, and the second team I always like is Arsenal,” he said.
“That doesn’t mean I’ll go to play there. I just like them.”
During his first spell in England, the Italy international performed well – scoring 30 goals in 80 games for the Citizens.
But his second spell in the North West was a forgettable one, only notching four goals in 28 appearances at Anfield.
Arsene Wenger has been criticised in the past for not having a range of striking options.
But with the North London club scoring freely this campaign, Balotelli may not get his chance to join the Gunners.
