Lionel Messi has selected ten young up-and-coming players that he rates highly in Marca, with Chelsea’s Nathan and Celtic loanee Patrick Roberts making the prestigious cut.
The current Ballon d’Or holder is the most gifted footballer on the planet and continues to marvel for Barcelona and Argentina.

However, in a feature for the Spanish newspaper, Messi has highlighted ten youngsters from the world game that have the potential to become future world-beaters.
The attacker named fellow South American Nathan on his list, with the Chelsea starlet currently on loan at Dutch club Vitesse Arnhem.
The versatile Brazil under-20’s attacker joined the Premier League club last year and has put in some impressive performances while on loan at the Eredivisie outfit.
Roberts meanwhile was bought by Manchester City last summer from Fulham and penned an 18-month loan stint at Scottish champions Celtic in January.
