West Ham United finished their 2018/19 Premier League campaign with an emphatic 4-1 win against Watford at Vicarage Road.

Manuel Pellegrini’s side dominated proceedings on Sunday afternoon and the three points helped them to leapfrog the Hornets into a tenth-placed finish.

The result helped to cap off a rather successful campaign under the West Ham manager and things certainly look exciting for the London Stadium outfit.

Mark Noble opened the scoring before Manuel Lanzini doubled the Hammers’ lead before the half-time whistle.

Gerard Deulofeu reduced the deficit immediately after the restart following a Pablo Zabaleta mistake, however, West Ham were handed an advantage when Jose Holebas was shown a red card minutes later.

Marko Arnautovic restored the Hammers’ two-goal lead before Noble bagged his second of the game from the penalty spot.

West Ham fan were understandably delighted with the result after the game, with many taking to Twitter to share their reaction to the victory.

As usual, plenty took to the social media site to share their comments and one man appeared to earn a number of the plaudits for his performance.

Lukasz Fabianski has been vital for West Ham and continued to show why he was voted the club’s Hammer of the Year last week.

The Poland international continued to put in an impressive performance against Watford, making a number of crucial saves.

Some took to Twitter to continue waxing lyrical about the 34-year-old, with a number of them using a whole load of superlatives to describe him.
