Monaco midfielder Kevin N’Doram has caught the eye of Premier League side Everton, who have enquired about taking the Frenchman this summer, according to L’Equipe.
The defensive minded man has struggled for game time in the principality this season, but in the brief spells he has had on the pitch he has done enough to win over the Toffees.
The 22-year-old has spent much of the campaign behind the likes of Fabinho and Joao Moutinho in the pecking order at the Stade Louis II, and he has got to the stage of his career where he is in need of more regular football as he looks to branch out and make the most of his talent.
Everton have been after a standout defensive midfielder to play alongside Idrissa Gueye for a while, and although Morgan Schneiderlin has fitted in during the second half of the season, the feeling is that he has never truly nailed the spot down.
N’Doram made just seven starts for the 2017 Ligue 1 champions this term, which has made the Goodison Park outfit hopeful that they will be able to lure the powerful athlete to Merseyside.
Everton might have their work cut out if they are to secure the addition of the midfielder, whose passing range and strength in the air, has really caught their attention.
That is because a host of big Ligue 1 sides are circling for his signature should Monaco decide to let the France under-21 international leave the club.
That in itself is a big if though as they are believed to have turned down a number of offers for N’Doram on their way to winning the French league last season.
With the youngster finding himself down the pecking order however, it could be that a significant offer may well see Everton land their man.
