Leicester City will travel to Rodney Parade on Sunday as they meet Newport County in the FA Cup third round.
Claude Puel’s side have been in fine form recently and have managed to pick up a number of impressive results over the festive period.
The Foxes managed to record wins against the likes of Chelsea, Manchester City and Everton, however, they will now turn their attention to cup competition.
Leicester will know what their League Two opponents are capable off after Newport managed to take Tottenham Hotspur to a replay in the tournament almost a year ago.
And, according to a match preview by Sky Sports, it would appear Puel could still look to name a rather strong squad for the trip to Rodney Parade.
Wes Morgan has recently returned to training and could be set to use the match as an ideal opportunity to get some minutes under his belt.
Leicester could use the fixture to rest Jamie Vardy ahead of their Premier League encounter with Southampton at the King Power Stadium next weekend.
Puel may also hand a number of his fringe players the chance to impress and show what they can offer him and the Foxes, including the likes of Andy King.
The midfielder has recently been linked with a move away from the club with the January transfer window now open.
One man that appears set to leave the King Power Stadium is Vicente Iborra, who is unavailable after returning to Spain for personal reasons.
