Leicester City are to return with a second bid for Middlesbrough’s Gaston Ramirez, according to The Daily Mail.
The Uruguayan has handed in a transfer request at the Riverside Stadium and wants to sign for the Foxes in order to play a part in the Champions League knockout stages.

An initial £12 million offer was rejected earlier this week but it seems the player is keen to force a move before the window shuts on Tuesday night.
Ramirez joined Middlesbrough in January 2016 on a loan deal from Southampton, but made the permanent switch to Teesside last summer on a free transfer.
The 26-year-old has made 17 league appearances for Boro so far this term, scoring twice and assisting three times, although he has not featured since January 2 after expressing his desire to leave.
Leicester boss Claudio Ranieri is looking to bolster his squad after seeing the Premier League champions falter this season and wants Ramirez to give them more creativity in attack.
They currently sit 15th in the table after 22 matches, only five points above the relegation zone and a point ahead of Boro.
