Leicester City were beaten 3-1 by Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium on Monday night and fans were disappointed with the performance of one of their stars on the night.

Claude Puel’s side started the game well and found themselves in front in the first half when Ben Chilwell managed to get down the left and saw his cross attempt put into the net by Hector Bellerin.

However, the Foxes were pegged back just before the half-time whistle when Mesut Ozil levelled the tie with a fine goal.

Leicester would have been looking to continue with the performance they had displayed in the opening 45 minutes, however, things fell a little flat.

Arsenal took full advantage of their poor showing and Pierre-Emerick Aubayemang netted a brace when he came on as a second-half substitute.

Things may have been different for the Foxes when they were denied what looked a clear penalty when Rob Holding handled the ball in the area.

However, Puel’s side will now look to the game against West Ham United next weekend at the King Power Stadium.

Fans will be expecting a better performance from their side and judging by their reactions on Twitter, from one man in particular.

James Maddison has impressed for the club since his summer move from Norwich City, earning himself an England call-up in the recent international break.

Although he looked bright in the first half, he did not have the best of showings in the latter stages at the Emirates Stadium on Monday and fans mentioned that they had expected to see more from him.

Here are some of their reactions:
