Leicester City could claim the services of Manchester United star Andreas Pereira as part of any deal the Red Devils complete for Harry Maguire, according to The Sun.
The Foxes defender has been coveted by the Old Trafford outfit for a good while, but the King Power Stadium side have so far been able to resist their advances.
Maguire is a key man for Leicester so Brendan Rodgers will be keen not to let the England international leave the club, particularly at a time when he is looking to strengthen and take the former Premier League champions back into the top six and beyond.
In a bid to keep the defender at the King Power, the Foxes are understood to have put a £90 million price tag on his head, as per the report, but that does not appear to have seen off all interested parties.
Maguire, a powerful centre-back with comfort on the ball and an eye for goal at the other end, has come on leaps and bounds in his stay at Leicester, where he has made 76 appearances in all competitions.
It would seem as though it is only a matter of time before one of the big clubs come in for him, and if that is United, the Foxes will at least be offered the chance to take exciting midfielder Pereira as part of any deal.
With no firm move made for Youri Tielemans, the man who impressed in a loan spell at the King Power last term, there is a hole to be filled by someone creative in the centre of the park at Leicester.
Swapping Maguire for him though would only see the Foxes patch up one problem while creating another, and despite the fact that they would have the funds to replace the England man, getting someone of a similar quality would not be easy.
