Burton Albion will be without midfielder Luke Murphy for this weekend’s fixture against Leeds United, Brewers boss Nigel Clough has confirmed.
The 27-year-old is on loan from the Whites and is thus ineligible for Saturday’s clash at the Pirelli Stadium.

“It’s a big blow missing Luke against his parent club, he’s been one of our most consistent players,” Clough told Burton’s official website.
“His fitness has improved but it’ll do him good to get a breather too.”
Murphy made the move to the Championship strugglers in the winter transfer window and quickly established himself as a first-team regular.
He has featured in 17 of Burton’s 18 league fixtures since, scoring once in a 2-1 win over Queens Park Rangers in late January.
Having been frozen out at Leeds under boss Garry Monk during the first half of the campaign, it seems likely that Murphy will be moved on permanently during the off-season.
His parent club are chasing promotion to the Premier League but slipped out of the play-off zone following a shock home loss to Wolverhampton Wanderers last weekend.
The Elland Road side can still guarantee a top-six finish by taking maximum points from their remaining three matches and will hope to get back on track with a win on Saturday.
