Leeds United fans may well still be reeling from the news that Garry Monk will not be at the Elland Road helm next season, but the club’s transfer business is still believed to be underway.

Reports in Portugal have stated that the Whites have opted to pay the £1.7 million needed to bring Hadi Sacko back to the Yorkshire club on a permanent basis.

The Sporting Lisbon loanee showed a lot of potential in his time at Leeds in 2016-17, with the French attacker boasting plenty of pace and trickery.

However, the Elland Road faithful did become frustrated with Sacko at times when he found himself in good positions but an end product was lacking.

With talk that the French forward is due back at the Championship club, the Leeds fans have taken to Twitter to express their opinions on the potential deal.

Most seemed happy that the flying winger would be returning to the club, while spending the required fee to sign him has instilled hope in the supporters that new owner Andrea Radrizzani will splash the cash this summer.

Some others speculated that potential new manager, Pep Clotet, may even have had a say in the Frenchman’s return – the best tweets are below.
