Leeds United striker Caleb Ekuban has joined Trabzonspor on a season-long loan deal, the Turkish side have announced on their official Twitter account.
The pacey centre forward has fallen down the pecking order at Elland Road and has the likes of Kemar Roofe, Patrick Bamford and Tyler Roberts ahead of him in Marcelo Bielsa’s thoughts.
Although Leeds are yet to announce Ekuban’s departure, the former Chievo Verona forward has been pictured in Turkey with the Trabzonspor shirt on.
The 24-year-old has been somewhat unlucky in England after moving to the Yorkshire side last summer.

Injuries have played their part in Ekuban struggling to make an impression at Leeds, with the striker spending a considerable amount of time on the sidelines as a result.
The fans have appreciated the attacker’s admirable work rate when he has been given a chance but a lack of goals and end product counts against him.
With Leeds having other options in attack for this season, the supporters will hope Ekuban can make an impression in Turkey and return to Elland Road a better player at the end of the season.
