One of Liverpool’s most-impressive aspects this season has been the new-look three-man midfield that Jurgen Klopp has fielded.
However, with the Reds’ Premier League clash against Manchester United set to test the Anfield outfit’s title credentials, the German coach looks set to have to mix up his team selection.

Adam Lallana and Georginio Wijnaldum will undergo late fitness tests for the game against Jose Mourinho’s men but there is every likelihood that the pair will both miss out.
As such, Klopp will have to decide who to pick to deputise for the in-form duo.
Emre Can looks like a player certain to play and in a way the German’s return could well be a blessing in disguise.
The former Bayer Leverkusen star was a mainstay under Brendan Rodgers and has filled in at the back when required also.
However, there is little doubting that Can’s best position is in the centre of the park and that he is a very capable operator.

A player with battling qualities, an excellent work-rate and poise on the ball, the German’s inclusion against United could add a quality option capable of helping the hosts to win the midfield battle.
Can has been unlucky not to feature more this season but a strong performance on Monday night could well be the catalyst to get this fans’ favourite back into Klopp’s team on a weekly basis.
