Fulham manager Slavisa Jokanovic has confirmed that Ragnar Sigurdsson will miss this weekend’s Championship clash with Brentford on Saturday, but Stefan Johansen is fit to play.
The Cottagers are on a phenomenal run of form and have pushed their way into the playoff places in recent weeks at the expense of Leeds United.
Fulham know that their fate is in their own hands, with two more victories securing a finish in the top six and a chance to win promotion to the Premier League.
A London derby against Brentford is the next obstacle for the Craven Cottage outfit, with mixed team news for the promotion hopefuls.
Johansen scored twice in Fulham’s 4-1 win over Huddersfield Town last time out but was substituted towards the end of the victory.
Despite concerns that he was injured, Jokanovic has set the record straight.
“Stefan Johansen didn’t miss any training after this situation,” he told the club’s official website.
“He’s fully motivated and ready for tomorrow’s game.
“We have lost Ragnar Sigurdsson for tomorrow. He has a calf problem, but the other players are available for the game.”
Fulham have won their last four games in a row and hold a three-point advantage over Leeds, who are in seventh place currently.
The Cottagers face fellow top-six hopefuls Sheffield Wednesday at Hillsborough in their final game of the campaign.
