However, the Welsh side look set to make reinforcements, with two news faces ‘imminent’ according to their manager.
Carroll knows Swansea well due to a loan stint with the club and is set to leave boyhood side Tottenham to move to South Wales on a permanent basis.
The gifted pass master has found first-team football hard to come by at Spurs, with a host of international-quality players ahead of him in Mauricio Pochettino’s thinking.
Olsson meanwhile has been looking for an avenue back to the Premier League and looks set to get it, with Norwich and Swansea reported to have agreed terms.
Clement has stated that the Swans fans are set to have two new stars to admire in the near future, all things being well.
“Martin Olsson and Tom Carroll are imminent and hopefully will go through without any problems,” he told Sky Sports.
