Lee Erwin has taken to Twitter to give his reaction to Leeds United’s defeat at the hands of Derby County on Wednesday evening.

Marcelo Bielsa’s side went down 4-2 to Derby at Elland Road in the second leg of their Championship playoff semi-final tie.

The result means that Derby have progressed to the final 4-3 on aggregate and will face Aston Villa at Wembley Stadium in London later this month for a place in the Premier League next season.

Tractor Sazi striker Erwin was following the match, and the 24-year-old former Leeds striker, now based in Iran, has stated on Twitter that the Whites were unlucky.

The former Motherwell striker has also backed Leeds to win automatic promotion to the Premier League next season, and has strongly defended head coach Bielsa on Twitter.

Leeds narrowly missed out on automatic promotion to the Premier League for the 2019-20 campaign, and the Whites will now have to wait at least one more season to get back to the top flight of English football.
