Leicester City had another bad result in the Premier League on Sunday afternoon, when they went down 1-0 to Manchester United at the King Power Stadium, but their fans did find one positive as they reacted to the loss on social media.

The Foxes fell behind in the match fairly early on, when a sloppy piece of play by Ricardo Pereira was pounced upon, and the Red Devils took full advantage as Paul Pogba fed Marcus Rashford to score what ended up being the only goal of the game.

To be fair to Leicester, they had a bit of a go in the second half, with David de Gea being forced into a number of saves as the match wore on, but you never truly thought they were going to get onto level terms.

Given that they drew with Liverpool in midweek, Foxes fans will have been optimistic of getting a result against Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s men, but despite their failure to do so, they were able to find a positive out of a tough afternoon.

Harvey Barnes started the match, his third appearance for Leicester since returning from a loan spell at West Bromwich Albion last month, and he looked the part for Claude Puel’s men.

The England under-21 international is seen as a big prospect at the King Power Stadium, and he tried his best to take the game to United, but ultimately couldn’t find a way to get the Foxes back into the match.

Leicester fans enjoy watching players who excite them and get them off their seats, and Barnes has the creativity and confidence to do just that, despite his inexperience.

As one of their own, the attacker is already a fans favourite and many of those Foxes supporters took to social media to praise his performance, despite the loss.
