Hull City and Newcastle United are both chasing Angers winger Nicolas Pepe, according to the Daily Star.
The 21-year-old has been a key player this season for the struggling Ligue 1 side and has scored two goals alongside one assist in 19 appearances.

It is reported that Hull have tabled a bid of around £7.5 million for Pepe but Newcastle are also contemplating making a move for youngster tipped for a bright future.
The Magpies are yet to make any signings in the January transfer window but manager Rafa Benitez is still keen on new additions to strengthen his promotion-chasing squad.
Pepe is on his way back from the African Cup of Nations after his country Ivory Coast were knocked out of the tournament in the group stages and should be able to complete a deal soon if a bid is accepted.
However, he is still expected to be involved when Angers host Metz on Saturday.
