Manchester United legend Ryan Giggs has admitted that he would love to see former Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Luka Modric at Old Trafford.
The Croatia international moved to White Hart Lane in 2008 and was an essential player for Spurs over four seasons in the Premier League.

Modric was part of the Tottenham side that excelled in the Champions League but was later snatched away by Real Madrid in 2012.
The diminutive schemer is an essential member of Zinedine Zidane’s side and has established himself as one of the best deep-lying playmakers in the world game.
Modric signed a new contract with Madrid earlier this week to keep him in the Spanish capital until 2020 but Giggs has admitted that he would have loved to have seen the 31-year-old switch to the Red Devils.
“Croatia have great players and my current favourite is Modric – I would love him to join Man United,” The Daily Mail quote the Welshman as saying.
United spent big on Paul Pogba over the summer but their midfield balance has not been quite right this season to allow the France international to thrive.
The Premier League club have looked much-improved since Ander Herrera has taken on a deeper role but Jose Mourinho would surely love to have Modric at his disposal at Old Trafford.
