The former Tottenham Hotspur striker was impressed with the display produced by Grealish during the second leg of the Championship playoff semi-final tie between West Brom and Villa.
The 23-year-old attacking midfielder was the heartbeat of the Villans, who lost the second leg 1-0 but won the tie 4-3 on penalties during the shootout.
Grealish is one of the best attacking players in the Championship, and the youngster was brilliant against West Brom.
The 23-year-old drove his team forward, created chances for his teammates and was constantly a nuisance for the West Brom defence.
Grealish, who can also operate as a winger, is wanted by Premier League club Tottenham, according to The Mirror.
Not hard to see why @JackGrealish1 is attracting attention. Really comfortable on the ball with a silky touch. Easily the best footballer on the pitch.
