Fulham team news: Four men out of Charlton clash, including key figure

Fulham are due to play against Charlton Athletic in a Championship encounter at The Valley on Wednesday.

Scott Parker’s Cottagers side will be aiming for an away win in order to maintain a push for an automatic promotion place this season.

Fulham enter the game in third position on the standings and are four points adrift of second-place Leeds United.

The Craven Cottage outfit are currently on a run of two consecutive league wins and have a perfect opportunity to make that three against the 19th place Addicks, who are just five points clear of the relegation zone.

Fulham’s key striker Aleksandar Mitrovic is expected to be out of action for up to three weeks after having suffered ligament damage during his side’s 1-0 win against Hull City last weekend, according to the club’s official website.

Other players who are expected to miss out include Aboubakar Kamara, Harrison Reed and Max Le Marchand,

Overall, Fulham have enough strength in depth to win the game and secure a valuable three points.

They can however not afford to get the basics wrong during the game. Charlton have already previously frustrated Parker’s side after drawing 2-2 with them in a league clash back in October.

It also remains to be seen if other attackers from the Fulham team can come to the party in lieu of the absence of Mitrovic.

The Serbian has been in tremendous form so far this season after having thus far scored 18 league goals from 26 Championship games.

The Fulham striker’s current level of form can help the team to return to the Premier League.
