Fulham manager Scott Parker wants to bring his brother in law Harry Arter to the London club on loan, according to a report published by The Sun.
The 29-year-old Bournemouth enforcer is currently out of favor at the Vitality Stadium with Eddie Howe’s side willing to sell for around £8 million, the report suggests.
Fulham May however need to sell a player before making such a move. The Cottagers were relegated from the Premier League and so need to make transfers which are significantly cheaper than those which they made last summer.
Howe might be open to parting ways with Arter this summer after he managed to sign Philip Billing from Huddersfield Town in a deal which could rise to as much as £15 million.
Reported Fulham target Arter was largely unimpressive last season as he went on to play just 16 games in all competitions, scoring one goal.
He was in his element during the 2016-17 season though, as he went on to play 35 Premier League games, scoring one goal. The Republic of Ireland international still has plenty of years left in him as a footballer and perhaps a move will help him to kick-start his career.
Despite being relegated last season, Fulham have so far had an impressive transfer window as they have brought in the likes of Anthony Knockaert.
Hey There is no doubt that Parker’s side will be aiming to secure immediate promotion back to the English top-flight.
Arter could be a good addition to the Cottagers. His past experiences in the Premier League will mean that he will be more than capable of shining in the English second-tier.
