Harry Redknapp has told Sky Sports that Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Dele Alli is an incredible footballer.
The former Tottenham manager believes that when Alli is back to the form he showed a year ago, he will be a brilliant footballer for the North London outfit.
Redknapp told Sky Sports: “Where [would you make signings]? When I look at the team, they are full of good players everywhere.
“It is the same group of players – but one or two are not playing as well. Dele Alli, I love him, what a footballer, but he has not been in the same form as he showed, maybe over a year ago.
“He comes back to form, he is an incredible player. I think they have got the players. They are going through a bad spell but they will come out of that.”
Improvement needed for Dele Alli
Alli is one of the best young players in the Premier League, but the England international is not playing well for Tottenham at the moment.
The 23-year-old did not have a great season on a personal level last season, and it is clear that the Englishman needs to improve his game.
According to WhoScored, the former Milton Keynes Dons midfielder has scored one goal in 121 minutes of Premier League football and has played in three Champions League games for Spurs so far this season.
During the 2018-19 campaign, Alli made 22 starts and three substitute appearances in the Premier League for Tottenham, scoring five goals and providing three assists in the process, according to WhoScored.
The Englishman also provided three assists in eight Champions League matches for Spurs last season, according to WhoScored.
