Alan Hutton has suggested to Football Insider that Rangers striker Alfredo Morelos wants to move to the Premier League.
The former Rangers right-back thinks that Morelos, who is one of the best players in the Scottish Premiership and is a key figure in Steven Gerrard’s side, wants to prove himself in the Premier League.
Hutton told Football Insider about the future of Morelos: “Maybe, it depends on what teams are interested in you. Do you really want to go away to wherever, China or wherever it is?
“He’s a young guy, he wants to prove himself here in the Premier League and in Britain, if the right opportunity came up he would have to look at it seriously. I think definitely for this season he is in the best place to improve as a player.”
Premier League move
Morelos is a very good goalscorer who has proved himself in the Scottish Premiership, and is one of the first names on the Rangers teamsheet.
The 23-year-old will get better in the coming years, and one can understand if he would be interested in a move to the Premier League soon.
After all, the Premier League is the richest and the most followed domestic league in the world, and it must be a dream for all footballers to play in the top flight of English football.
Rangers are aiming to win the Scottish Premiership title this season, as well as make an impact in the Europa League.
