Former Chelsea youth player Zech Medley is currently having a trial with London rivals Arsenal, according to Jeorge Bird’s Arsenal Youth blog.
The 16-year-old is no longer at the Blues despite signing a scholarship contract over the summer and it seems that he may be drafted in as defensive reinforcement for the Gunners’ under-18 side.

Medley made his first appearance in an Arsenal shirt in the 1-1 draw with Fulham under-18s at the weekend.
However, it wasn’t a fairytale debut for the youngster as he conceded an 85th minute penalty to allow the Cottagers to equalise.
Capped at schoolboy level for England, Medley is considered a bright talent and will have no shortage of suitors now that he has become available.
Arsenal have a proud youth tradition and will hope that their facilities and array of top coaches will persuade the centre-back to sign permanently.
Their under-18 side are currently top of the Premier League Academy Group South table, a point clear of second place West Ham United.
After a UEFA Youth League tie against Ludogorets Razgrad in midweek, they face Reading in their next domestic fixture this Saturday.
